Dr. Divyasena is a versatile and accomplished “A”  TOP graded artist, scholar, and visionary who founded the Divyanjali School of Dance in 1994. Her profound journey in Kuchipudi began at the legendary Kuchipudi Arts Academy under Guru Dr. Vempati Chinna Satyam, and she continues her advanced training under the guidance of Sri Jai Kishore Mosalikanti. In Bharatanatyam, she was trained by Sri J. Sooryanarayanamoorthy, with specialized training in Abhinaya from the Late Smt. Kalanidhi Narayanan. A dedicated academician, Dr. Divyasena began her lecturing career in 2014 and earned her PhD in Bharatanatyam in 2019 under Dr. Ambika Kameshwar. Her academic leadership is further highlighted by her role as a Doctoral Committee (DC) Member at Vels University and her service as a Syllabus Board Member for the University of Madras and Alva’s College. A sought-after educator, she has served as Guest Faculty at Christ University (Bangalore) and the University of Madras, and was recently honored with the Best Teacher Award from the prestigious Madras Music Academy. Decorated with titles such as Yuva Kala Bharathi, Natyacharya, and Nrithya Kala Bharathi, she has led Divyanjali on numerous global tours, successfully bridging the worlds of professional performance and high-level academic research.
