Dr. Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad Library

Aria University provides students and faculty with comprehensive library services, including digital collections and specialized archives. The university maintains both physical and digital resources to support academic excellence.

Located on the second floor of the Aria University building, the library houses an extensive collection of rare and ancient Telugu and Sanskrit texts, along with several hundred computer science volumes. This specialized collection supports the university’s commitment to both classical scholarship and contemporary academic disciplines.

Audio-Video Digital Archive

The university is home to a unique Audio-Video Digital Archive featuring over 20,000 hours of Indian classical music, including both Carnatic and Hindustani traditions. Spanning recordings from 1950 to 2020, the archive documents live concerts and All India Radio programs performed by 200 eminent musicians and gurus. An abridged catalog of featured artists is available for reference.

This remarkable collection was generously donated to Aria University by Dr. L.V. Raghavan and his wife, Jothi.

Accessing the Archive

The archive is housed on the university’s premises and accessible through student services. While on-site access is available, students may also request archive searches. University staff will conduct targeted searches, organize video consultations with students to identify relevant works, and deliver selected recordings via email or Google Drive.
