Anuradha Ramesh

Dr. Anuradha Ramesh is an accomplished Bharatanatyam performer, choreographer, and scholar with a deep commitment to arts education and social impact. She holds a Master’s degree in Bharatanatyam from SASTRA University and a PhD from Vels University. An active academic contributor, she has presented research papers at numerous national and international conferences. She contributes articles for peer reviewed journals on art like Pranav journals and her interviews are published in Sruthi magazine. Alongside her distinguished artistic career, Dr. Ramesh has been actively engaged in creating educational opportunities for children from underprivileged communities. She serves on the Board of Management of Seva Samajam, a non-profit organization that manages an orphanage and school in Chennai, and is also a visiting faculty member at RASA – Theatre for Holistic Development.

Dr. Ramesh conducts teacher-training workshops for schools across Chennai, focusing on the integration of theatre and dance into classroom pedagogy to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. She represented India as part of a Group Study Exchange Program to Sweden and has performed extensively on prestigious platforms in India and internationally. In addition to managing her own dance school in Chennai, she curates the YouTube channel Culture Cues, dedicated to promoting awareness and appreciation of Indian arts and culture. She is also an active theatre artist associated with Madras Players. Through
her artistic, educational, and community initiatives, Dr. Ramesh continues to champion the transformative power of the arts in society.
